Vijayawada: YSR Congress MP from Rajahmundry Margani Bharat slammed TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu for failing to respond to the I-T notice served on him for his undisclosed income of Rs 118 crore received in the form of kickbacks from top infrastructure firms for taking up works in capital city Amaravati.
Speaking to media persons at YSR Congress party headquarters on Monday, the MP alleged that Naidu gave a code name of ‘Steel of Tonnes’ for the money collected from the contractors, as was evident in the diary entry by contractor Manoj Vasudev Parthasarathi to Naidu’s personal assistant.
He said that Naidu built a house with that money, and it even changed hands in Amaravati, Hyderabad, and Delhi, as well as in Dubai in the form of dinars.
