TRS leader Ravindra Naik, TD’s Revuri Prakash Reddy join BJP

Later, they met BJP national working president J.P. Nadda. Both are from erstwhile Warangal district.

Hyderabad: Former MP and TRS leader Ravindra Naik and former MLA and Telugu Desam Party politburo member Revuri Prakash Reddy joined the BJP at Delhi on Wednesday in the presence of its general Secretary P Muralidhar Rao.

Later, they met BJP national working president J.P. Nadda. Both are from erstwhile Warangal district.

BJP leader Muralidhar Rao said that the BJP would fight against the anti-people’s rule of the TRS.

He said that the BJP was the only alternative to the TRS in Telangana and because of that, several leaders were joining the BJP.

BJP Telangana president K Laxman said that the TRS was not able to digest the increasing popularity of the BJP in Telangana and was registering false cases against its workers.

He said that the people of Telangana were supporting the BJP to fight against the corrupt and family rule of Chief Minister K. Chandra-ekhar Rao.
Meanwhile, Revuri Prakash Reddy said that he informed TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu about his joining the BJP.

He said that the TRS came to power due to the Telangana sentiment but the fruits of Telangana state were not reaching the people.
