VISAKHAPATNAM: Taking a dig at the Jana Sena chief, the regional coordinator of YSRC for north Andhra region YV Subba Reddy has said Pawan Kalyan has no idea why he was on a Varahi Yatra.
Speaking to the media after reviewing party work at constituencies in Visakhapatnam on Friday, Subba Reddy said the people were ignoring PK’s Varahi Yatra. “Only if you do good things, the people will be interested in such yatras,’’ he said.
The regional coordinator also took on TD leaders, saying they were misleading the public with their “misinformation” campaign. People knew what kind of development took place during the last four years, he said.
“Was it not visible to TD leaders the foundation stone laying of Bhogapuram International Airport or the Moolapeta seaport in Srikakulam and recently InOrbit Mall in Visakhapatnam,’’ he asked.
He added, “The foundation stones laid by Chandrababu Naidu remained as plaques. On the other hand, chief minister Jagan Reddy always wanted the projects to be completed in their scheduled time.”
He said development works in Visakhapatnam were going on. Repairs of roads damaged in the recent rains would soon be done. The officials were told to take up the repairs on a war footing, he said.
