KTR says oppn not serious, not present for discussions

HYDERABAD: The Congress and the BJP came under fire from the BRS in the Assembly, with minister K.T. Rama Rao claiming they were insincere about discussing important issues in the House.

Rama Rao, during Question Hour, said that MLAs of the two parties make tall claims, raise complaints about the state government outside of the House but when it comes to discussing issues, they are not present in the Assembly.

“There is just one MLA from the BJP and one from Congress here. This shows their sincerity, all they want to do is to make noise outside and avoid meaningful discussions on issues in the Assembly,” he said pointing to the presence of only the BJP’s Etala Rajendar and Congress’ D. Sreedhar Babu at that time.
