Chennai: Even as both factions of the AIADMK gets restive, the Election Commission has said that the matter regarding appointment of office bearers, including V K Sasikala as general secretary, was pending before it die to an “internal dispute” in the party.
Replying to a RTI query posed by ‘Aspire’ K Swaminathan on who is the present general secretary of the AIADMK, the Election Commission said, “It is informed that at present there is an internal dispute in All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. The matter regarding the office-bearers is pending in the Commission.”
