BJP to Siddaramaiah: Apologise for blaming PM, HM for crisis

Mr. Siddaramaiah will not sleep without criticizing the Prime Minister.

BENGALURU: The state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has accused Congress leader Siddaramaiah of hatching a plot to destabilize the coalition government while demanding his apology for blaming party president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for resignations of two ruling party MLAs.

Former minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader C.T. Ravi told the media here on Thursday that Mr Siddaramaiah was constantly pointing fingers at the top brass of Bharatiya Janata Party though he was trying to unseat Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.

“Mr. Siddaramaiah will not sleep without criticizing the Prime Minister. Only for political reasons, he criticizes the Prime Minister and our national president,” he added.

Criticizing Janata Dal (Secular) MLA Mahadev who alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party offered him Rs 30 crore to defect to the party, Mr. Ravi demanded that Mr Mahadev should disclose the name of the Bharatiya Janata Party member who offered money to him.

“Such baseless allegations of Janata Dal (Secular) MLA shows that he has become desperate to increase his market value in the eyes of Mr Kumaraswamy. By making such baseless allegations, the Janata Dal (Secular) MLA wants to demand monetary benefits from the top brass of his party,” alleged Mr. Ravi.
