Telugu Desam legislators lodge complaint against Jagan Mohan Reddy

People have lost faith in Jagan and YSRC leaders in the state, says TD leaders.

Visakhapatnam: TD MLAs in Vizag and Vizianagaram districts lodged police complaints against the leader of Opposition in the AP Assembly and president of YSRC, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for his controversial statement that people should attack Chief Minster N. Chandrababu Naidu with slippers whenever and wherever they saw him.

Coming down heavily on Jagan, TD MLAs Panchakarla Ramesh Babu (Elamanchili), V. Anitha (Payakaraopeta), Geetha Meesala (Vizianagaram) and few other TD leaders lodged police complaints against Yagna for his offensive speech.

The insulting remarks of Jagan has drawn sharp criticism from TD leaders and activists in various parts of North Andhra and the TD youth staged protest against Jagan at several places in the region.

People have lost faith in Jagan and YSRC leaders in the state and in the coming days, only Jagan and his few henchmen will lead the sinking ship, pointed out the TD leaders.

The corrupt Congress leaders had encouraged the system of throwing slippers on the leaders for their political mileage and now Jagan wants to continue the obnoxious behaviour, they said.

Inspector of Police, Elamanchili K. Venkata Rao said that they have received complaints against Jagan from the TD MLAs on Saturday and they will seek legal opinion for further process, he added.
