Congress never sought RSS help: Ramesh Chennithala

He added a rift has developed in the ruling front over accepting votes of various sections.

Alappuzha: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala on Friday said the Congress party has never sought the help of the RSS. He was speaking to reporters at Chengannur. “The Congress never accepted RSS votes," he said Mr Chennithala said that both the CPI(M) and the BJP were trying to create communal polarisation in the constituency.

He added a rift has developed in the ruling front over accepting votes of various sections. "The CPI(M) state secretary stated that the LDF would not accept RSS votes, but at the same time CPI secretary Kanam Rajendran made it clear that the Left front would accept votes of RSS. Further, his stand that the LDF does not want Kerala Congress (M) shows rift in the LDF.”
