Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh chief electoral officer Gopal Krishna Dwivedi on Thursday said that the CEO office has been receiving many complaints regarding violation of model code of conduct beside complaints against officers from police and other departments every day.
Many of the complainants are from residents from distant locations. He informed all concerned that, for overseeing the conduct of elections, besides the collectors, SPs, ROs and other field officers, there are 190 observers deployed by the EC in AP.
Mr Dwivedi informed the voters that beside the district collectors, SPs and ROs, they can lodge their complaint regarding elections with the observers who are stationed within the constituency.
