Hyderabad: BJP complains to Election Commission about Congress using national flag
Hyderabad: The BJP state unit on Thursday registered a complaint with the state election commission against the Congress for violating the model code of conduct in their public meeting in Zaheerabad. BJP leaders in their representation said that the Congress had been using the national flag in their public meetings, which was a clear violation of the MCC.
Former BJP MLA N. Indrasena Reddy said the Congress in their Zaheerabad meeting held on Monday, displayed the national flag for their benefit during the public meetings. Mr Reddy said he met CEO Rajat Kumar and lodged a complaint against the Congress.
