KAKINADA: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu warned the BJP leaders that people would beat them if he so directed their leaders. He lost his temper and composure on Friday near the Nagamallithota area. When Mr Chandrababu Naidu was going to the JNTUK sports grounds for participating in Janmabhoomi and other programmes on Friday, BJP leaders gave him a shock by obstructing his convoy.

Mr Chandrababu Naidu on Friday to know about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unjust moves towards AP.
According to BJP leaders, though the SP appeared to have responded positively, on Friday morning, police kept Mr Malakondaiah under house arrest. BJP leaders like Yarlagadda Ramkumar, Duvvuri Subrahmanyam, Gode Venkat, G.G.Kalyan, fifth ward corporator N.Sujatha and others changed their strategy and went to the Nagamallithota area.
When the Chief Minister’s convoy was moving that way, they suddenly obstructed it and raised slogans against Mr Chandrababu Naidu. Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa and Mr Chandrababu Naidu stepped out from the bus. Hearing the BJP slogans, the Chief Minister lost his temper. He said that the BJP had no right to stay here. “How dare you obstruct my convoy! I shall see your end if you target me,’’ the CM said and added, “You should have some sense of shame to live in this land. What has the Centre done or the Prime Minister done for the state? Have you lost all sense of balance? People will teach you a lesson. They will drag and beat you up if you do behave in this fashion.’’
He slowly regained some composure and advised the BJP activists and leaders not to create problems for themselves by behaving in such a manner. KMC corporator Saligramam Lakshmi Prasanna questioned the Chief Minister, “You are always talking about the funds not released by the Centre. But what have you done with the funds already released?“
Meanwhile, police took nearly 30 BJP leaders into custody and took them to the Port police station.
