Rahul Gandhi skips Muslim quota
Hyderabad: Congress president Rahul Gandhi alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had created “bangaru kutumbam” and not the Bangaru Telangana that he had promised.
He said the Congress on coming to power would complete the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project in two phases and provide water to Palamuru district along with Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts.
“The cost of the project which was estimated at Rs 10,000 crore has increased by Rs 60,000 crore in the name of redesigning it. Each and everyone in Telangana knows about Mr KCR, that KCR stands for Khao Commission Rao. The redesigning was done to benefit the contractors for commissions. The people of Telangana made him Chief Minister and he now calls the people immature,” Mr Gandhi alleged.
After completing the public meeting at Tandur, Mr Gandhi went up to the barricades and posed for selfies with some of the activists. Some members in the audience noted that Mr Gandhi had failed to mention 12 per cent reservations for Muslims.
