Opposition undermines TD, says AP CM

Rebuking Jana Sena (JS) chief Pawan Kalyan for his statements against the TD, the CM said politics was not a cinema script.

Nellore: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu took potshots at the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for trying to use the recent knife attack on Jagan to downscale TD.

Addressing party men at Ongole on Saturday, he advised the people not to believe the attack episode while stressing that the drama had dented the reputation of the opposition.

Rebuking Jana Sena (JS) chief Pawan Kalyan for his statements against the TD, the CM said politics was not a cinema script.

He said Pawan and Jagan, who had failed to console the victims of Cyclone Titli, would not criticise the BJP because of worry that Modi would put them in jail.

The CM has added that the YSRC leaders were acting as per the script provided by the BJP bigwigs in Delhi.

Claiming that Telangana caretaker CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao had advised him to go solo in the polls in Telangana, he said the TRS chief was worried over the Maha Kutami.

Mr Naidu said he was not afraid of anyone because he was not corrupt. On the development front, he said he would lay the foundation stone of the Ramayapatnam Port within the next 45 days. He expressed confidence in the TD’s return to power with the support of dedicated cadres working for the success of the party.

He said the party would be forced to pay a heavy penalty if the leaders failed to change their attitude.
