VIJAYAWADA: AP state BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana termed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as a “Statue of opportunity” for mingling with Congress.
Addressing a press meet at Vijayawada on Saturday, he alleged that there was huge corruption in the Telugu Desam government and fearing action, Mr Naidu joined hands with the Congress. He said the TD would disappear from AP in 2019, as Andhra people were up-in-arms against the party.
Mr Lakshminarayana recalled minister K.E. Krishna Murthy’s threat to commit suicide if the TD entered in any alliance with the Congress and another minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu fearing about people stripping TD leaders for alliance with the Congress. He dared the the two ministers to stick to their words.
