M Venkaiah Naidu all praise for AP temporary Secretariat

Mr Venkaiah and Mr Chandrababu had to reach Ainavolu by 10 am on Thursday to lay the foundation stone for VIT University.

Guntur: Union Minister for Urban development M. Venkaiah Naidu visited the Temporary Secretariat Interim Government Complex at Velagapudi for the first time on Thursday along with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

He praised APCRDA, Mr Naidu and minister for municipal administration P. Narayana for completion of the secretariat buildings in a short time and predicted about Amaravati emerging as the best capital city of the world in the future.

Mr Venkaiah and Mr Chandrababu had to reach Ainavolu by 10 am on Thursday to lay the foundation stone for VIT University. But Mr Venkaiah wanted to visit the Temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi. Mr Venkaiah and Mr Chandrababu immediately boarded the car belonging to Telugu Desam national general secretary N. Lokesh and started to Velagapudi. The police alerted the convoy and security to reach Velagapudi.

They reached the Temporary Secretariat and the CM showed various blocks and offices to Mr Venkaiah who expressed happiness over the construction of attractive building in a short time. He interacted with the employees who expressed happiness over the facilities and work space there.

Secretariat Employees Association president L. Muralikrishna and other leaders explained about the work timings, bus facilities, food and accommodation facilities to the union minister. Mr Venkaiah said that t he Temporary Secretariat resembles corporate offices complex and not a traditional government office and the credit goes to Mr Chandrababu Naidu and the APCRDA officials.

Later, Mr Venkaiah along with Mr Chandrababu Naidu reached Ainavolu in Mr Lokesh’s car and attended the VIT programme there.
