BS Yeddyurappa, Amit Shah meet on coup'
Bengaluru: BJP State President B.S. Yeddyurappa met party national president Amit Shah at Delhi two days ago on Monday and discussed the ongoing political developments in Karnataka.
According to sources, Mr Yeddyurappa met the party chief at his residence and explained to him the unsuccessful attempt made by the BJP recently to dethrone the H.D. Kumaraswamy government by drawing ruling party legislators to its side.
Mr Yeddyurappa also informed him that the party has started its preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and formally invited Mr Shah to the state to address party cadre.
The sources said the party president instructed Mr Yeddyurappa to accomplish the target of appointing page pramukhs in all polling booths and also instructed him to appoint booth committees where the party is considered weak.
