Congress manifesto compared to \"Jinna Manifesto,\" BJP leader

Kalaburagi: Defining the Congress manifesto as ‘Jinna Manifesto,’ former Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa compared Congress party’s assurance to ban Bajrang Dal with Ravana setting Anjaneya’s tail on fire.

“We remember Anjaneya when we speak about Bajrang Dal. Ravana set fire to Anjaneya's tail and he lost his kingdom. Congress exists in some pockets. But if they touch Bajarang Dal then they will not be in a position to be the main opposition too,” he warned.

He said that Congress cannot win this election. “This is Jinna manifesto, Muslim League Manifesto, and not of the Congress. How much courage should they have to say that they will ban Bajrang Dal?” Eshwarappa questioned.

“Bajrang is a patriotic organization supporting nationalist thinking. They are against anti-national forces, those involved in cow slaughter, and working to protect ‘Dharma.’ Is protecting the ‘Dharma,’ wrong? Cow slaughter is banned in Karnataka. Despite this, some try to steal cattle and kill them. Bajrang Dal is trying to stop them. Do you (Congress) want to ban them for this? Patriotic people are hurt by this. As a protest against this I will burn the manifesto,” Eshwarappa declared and burnt a copy.

“In Karnataka, there is no Jinnah Government or Muslim League government. There is a government of a patriotic nationalist party that will come to power again. People have come to know the thinking process of the Congress. All Muslims are not against Bajrang Dal. There are nationalist Muslims. That is why I say the Congress manifesto is Muslim League Manifesto. Should terror activities increase? The appeasement activities and support to the anti-national organization have made Congress vanish in India,” he said.
