Akhilesh Yadav came to meet K Chandrasekhar Rao after 18 calls: Ponnala Laxmaiah
Hyderabad: Former minister and former PCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah on Thursday accused Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) of working covertly with the BJP to divert the public’s attention from his failures. Mr Laxmaiah said that Mr Chandrasekhar Rao is enacting a drama in the name of Front.
Speaking to mediapersons on Thursday, the former PCC president alleged that in the name of front, the Telangana Chief Minister is hurting the self-respect of Telanganites. He further alleged that after KCR called over phone for 18 times and after sending his son IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao to UP to meet Akhilesh Yadav, he came to Hyderabad.
Mr Ponnala challenged KCR to reveal his phone call list. He said that Telangana state was formed only due to Sonia Gandhi. “KCR came to power by giving non-implementable assurances to the people,” Mr Laxmaiah said.
