Hyderabad: Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy on Sunday reiterated that the leadership of the Telangana state unit of the Congress was weak. “There is a need to reform the leadership in Telangana state. There is no spirit in the party as we are going to fight Lok Sabha elections with the same leadership that failed in the Assembly elections,” he said.
On Sunday, Mr Reddy left the emergency meeting of the Congress Legislative Party, called in the wake of two MLAs deciding to join the TRS, midway, citing the death of a party leader in his constituency.
“I had requested the party high command to give us a strong leader in the state. I will repeat my request,”he said.
