Chennai: The AIADMK general secretary V.K. Sasikala, in her first move of bringing change in the party, appointed senior leaders K.A. Sengottaiyan and S. Duraisamy as organising secretaries, on Friday.
Besides, she also sacked youth wing secretary Alexander and fisheries wing secretary Munusamy from their posts. Former minister N.R.Sivapathy was given the secretary post of the youth wing and minister D. Jayakumar was made the secretary of the fisheries wing. Munusamy was given the joint secretary post in the same wing.
She also appointed former ministers Gokula Indira and B.V. Ramana as other organising secretaries. Also, Arunachalam, P.M. Narasimhan, Niraikulathan, V.Somasundaram, S.Anbalagan, K. Annamalai. K.K. Umadevan, Karuppasamy Pandian and Buddhi Chandran were appointed as organising secretaries.
Former minister Nainar Nagendran was appointed as the deputy secretary of propaganda wing and Vaigai Selvan will be the new secretary of the literary wing, Sasikala said in a press release.
