Hyderabad: BJP Floor leader G. Kishan Reddy on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to scrap high value notes would benefit the country in the long-run.
He criticised Opposition leaders, especially the Left parties, for spreading a false campaign against the NDA government on demonetisation on curbs on gold holdings.
He, however, assured people, especially women that their gold would not be touched. “There is no need for women to worry about the gold ornaments in their possession as long as they are inherited or legally acquired. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision will benefit all sections of the society except those hoarding black money,” he remarked.
