Chinarajappa Praises Bhuvaneswari\'s Leadership Amid Naidu\'s Arrest\"

KAKINADA: Former home minister and Peddapuram MLA Nimmakayala Chinarajappa underlined that Nara Bhuvaneswari, spouse of imprisoned TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, has given a boost to TD cadre and people agitating against the arrest of the former CM.

He spoke to reporters after he, along with Bhuvaneswari and her daughter-in-law Brahmani, met Chandrababu Naidu in the Central Jail at Rajamahendravaram on Tuesday.

Chinarajappa said Bhuvaneswari is leading the fight against YSRC government for illegally arresting the TDP chief and people are rendering their full support to her.

He maintained that the day-long hunger strike taken up by Bhuvaneswari had got a tremendous response from people.

The former minister alleged that YSRC government is trying to scuttle attempts of Chandrababu Naidu to get bail. “Such attempts are nothing but political vendetta. They will backfire on YSRC government,” he maintained.

He disclosed that Chandrababu Naidu is very strong, healthy and courageous despite being in jail. “The TDP chief’s concern is only about the welfare of people of AP and not his comfort, even though he has been in prison for more than three weeks,” he remarked.

Chinarajappa said the former chief minister has asked him to convey to party cadres that they should not get demoralised by the oppressive actions of YSRC government. A legal battle will be waged and the issue will also be taken to people,” he stated.

The former home minister condemned the arrest of ex-minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, saying police are behaving in an ugly manner by not even providing Satyanarayana medicines for his ailments.
