Vishnu says YSR showed progress of 60 years in 6 years
VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada Central MLA Malladi Vishnu underlined that late Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy showed 60 years of progress within six years of his rule as chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. He was speaking after he, along with other leaders, paid floral tributes to YSR on his death anniversary on Friday.
Vishnu pointed out that Rajasekhara Reddy has been hailed as the only chief minister who paved the way for the development of all communities in united AP. He provided welfare schemes to poor without any caste, religion or party discrimination. The credit of providing four percent reservation for Minorities goes to this great leader, he underlined.
Vijayawada East constituency in-charge Devineni Avinash said YSR designed many schemes like Aarogya Sri, fee reimbursement and 25 paise interest. He has thereby gone on to live forever in the hearts of poor. Avinash stated that the same legacy is being carried forward by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
