Manakondur will develop if Rasamayee quits his MLA post, says Konda

He said KCR betrayed the causes of all sections of the people including farmers, the unemployed youth and government employees

KARIMNAGAR: Manakondur MLA Rasamayee Balakishan fought for a separate Telangana but he as MLA is not able to bring about development for his constituency, former MP Konda Vishweshwar said on Friday. He proposed that the MLA quit the post as Munugode MLA Rajagopal Reddy did.

Participating in the ‘Praja Gosa-BJP Barosa’ bike rally in Manakondur in Karimnagar district, he said, “Listening to the boasts of KCR, I thought Karimnagar and its adjacent Manakondur have developed enormously. But there is no such sign either in Karimnagar or Manakondur constituencies.”

“The rule of the father and son is on in Telangana state since 2014. Unable to explain what development they did for the state and its people, KCR is ducking such issues and visiting other states with his personal agenda. Everything he says is a lie. Telangana is worse in matters like spending money on education and health care, compared to other states,” he said.

He said KCR betrayed the causes of all sections of the people including farmers, the unemployed youth and government employees. “KCR had promised the dalit community that he would sanction each of them three acres of land and betrayed their trust in him. Once again he cheated them by introducing the Dalit Bandhu Scheme during the Huzurabad by-elections.”

The former MP said that whenever there was a by-election, KCR would think about the development of that constituency. “Even after winning two consecutive times, Rasamai Balakishan is not able to initiate any developmental work in the constituency and is not able to exert pressure on the leadership for sanctioning of funds. Manakondur’s fate will change for the better only if Balakishan resigns as MLA, he said.

He said that on several occasions, KCR boasted that Telangana was the surplus-budget state. IF so, why did the government not sanction the compensation and RR package to the oustees of the Lower Manair Dam till now, he asked.

BJP district unit president Krishna Reddy, as also other leaders like Ramgopal Reddy, Srinivas Goud, Venkat Reddy, Mallesham, Bhaskara Chary, Kalyan Chandra, Sammi Reddy, Praveen, Lokesh, Raji Reddy, Anil, Praveen, Jagan, Komuraiah and Prasad were present.
