Modi Pats Bandi for Hard Work

HYDERABAD: Former BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was recently made party general secretary, on Thursday received a pat on the back from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his services, and was asked to continue working hard to ensure a BJP victory in the state elections later this year.

Sanjay, BJP MP from Karimnagar, accompanied by his family, called on Modi in New Delhi. During the interaction, Modi told Sanjay that his work for the party was recognised by the BJP. “You should continue to work in the same manner and ensure BJP wins in Telangana,” Sanjay was reportedly told by the Prime Minister.

Sanjay is scheduled to take charge of his new position in the party on Friday morning and by afternoon arrive in Hyderabad with his followers planning a massive welcome for him followed by a meeting in Shamshabad, after which Sanjay will leave for Karimnagar.
