Hyderabad: Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa on Friday performed special prayers at the Tridhandi Chinna Jeeyarswamy Ashram at Shamshabad.
Mr Yediyurappa arrived at the ashram on Thursday night along with his family members. They stayed in the ashram and participated in the prayers organised by Chinna Jeeyarswamy in the morning.
Mr Rameshwar Rao, My Home Group Chairman who accompanied Karnataka Chief Minister during the prayers, said Mr Yediyurappa visited Chinna Jeeyarswamy ashram to take the blessings from the Swamy after he was sworn-in as the Chief Minister.
He said the Karnataka Chief Minister also had the darshan of Lord Sri Rama at a temple in the ashram. Mr Yediyurappa will visit the ashram after the Cabinet expansion. Mr. Yediyurappa left for the Bengaluru after 11 am.
