Single window decision in one month: E P Jayarajan

Thiruvananthapuram: Industry Minister E. P. Jayarajan has said the state government will implement single window to ensure investors within a month of application whether their proposals are viable. “When the 2006 LDF Government gave way to UDF in 2011, there were 18 Public Sector Undertakings, making profits, out of 41 enterprises. But now when the LDF Government is back in power, I realize there are only 10 profit-making PSUs”, said Mr Jayarajan at a meet-the-Press here on Thursday.

An expert management panel would be formed to help the LDF Government. It was owing to a lack of market intervention that industries like handloom and khadi sectors faced issues.
