Hyderabad: Officials have been told to compile the necessary data by the month-end so that the state government can take up distribution of the KCR Kits.
The kits, consisting of necessary items like soaps, shampoos and towels will be distributed to poor women soon after they give birth.
The kit has been named after the Chief Minister. Health minister C. Laxma Reddy, who reviewed implementation of the programme, directed officials to gather the data by the month-end, according to a release.
Dr Laxma Reddy, also held a meeting with superintendents of different government hospitals in the state, said the government is supplying modern equipment to the hospitals.
