CPM puts liquor lobby above PB: VM Sudheeran
KOCHI: KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran on Monday said that the CPM leaders in the state were giving more importance to the words of the liquor lobby rather than to that of Sitaram Yechuri and Prakash Karat and have now made both the Central leaders a party into the accord they made with the liquor lobby.
Addressing an election meeting of UDF candidate in Tripunithura K Babu at Panangad here, he said that CPM was crossing all levels of political decency by alleging BJP-Congress nexus.
“They are pursuing the Goebbelsian tactic of repeating a lie to make it appear true. Only Congress is working for a BJP-free India and only Congress can. The CPM was and is hand in glove with BJP and it can be easily seen in constituencies in Alappuzha,” the KPCC chief said.
He also said that BJP and CPM were both hands of the same coin by pursuing the politics of violence. Pinarayi Vijayan was evading mediaperson’s questions on inner-party differences which again points to this crisis, he added.
