Hyderabad: MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for criticising his party and called the PM a king of liars.

Addressing the election meetings for the TRS, Mr Owaisi said, “If we are controlling the steering of the TRS car, why are you feeling a headache? You are disturbed because I am a bearded man and wear a cap and my name is Asaduddin Owaisi.”

He said such comments do not suit for a person who holds the post of the Prime Minister. He said the PM has to maintain and respect the sanctity of the post. He said his party was not only the steering of the car, but also the battery and engine of it. “You are worried because your battery is defusing and you are fearing defeat in the elections.” He said that in Maharashtra, Mr Modi objected to referring to the term “Hindu terrorists”, but EC did not take notice.”
