TRS says no illegality in leader’s farmhouse

Mr Suman said that the leader had clearly mentioned the land details in his election affidavits and had said it was not a secret.

Hyderabad: Ruling party MLA Balka Suman reprimanded Congress MP A. Revanth Reddy for making baseless allegations against a prominent leader.

Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, Mr Suman said that in the copy given to the media by Mr Revanth Reddy, it is clearly mentioned that the eight acres of land in Shankarpalli have nothing to do with the farm house of the leader.

Mr Suman said that the leader had clearly mentioned the land details in his election affidavits and had said it was not a secret.

The MLA pointed out that the land owned by the leader’s wife and the farm house were eight kilometres apart. Mr Revanth Reddy was trying to fool everyone and trying to divert attention away from the issue of his Gopanpally land scam, he alleged.

Mr Suman demanded that Mr Reddy should explain to the people his fraudulent land dealings before making these false statements.
