None should use surgical strikes for vote politics, says M Thambidurai
Karur: The AIADMK’s propaganda secretary and Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M. Thambidurai has appealed that no political party should utilise the ‘surgical strikes’ on terror camps in PoK for “votes politics” within the country.
He told newsmen here on Saturday that eradicating terrorism and terrorists in acceptable at the global level and based on this Prime Minister Narendra Modi took suitable action (surgical strikes) in reply to the terror attack in Pulwama in J and K. But such actions could not be exploited for ‘votes politics’, he said.
Thambidurai said the courage of IAF pilot Abhinandan Varadhman was appreciated not only by our people, but also people across the Globe. The Country has proved once again its strength through Abhinandan, he noted.
He said the AIADMK- BJP alliance is for “some common causes” beside it will be a victory alliance. “No one can defeat us and on the other hand AIADMK will never give up its policies and ideologies for anybody.” The AIADMK would ensure the defeat of the DMK-Congress alliance in Tamil Nadu, the party senior asserted.
