N Uttam Kumar Reddy attacks TRS for eyeing fifth MLC seat

Hyderabad: TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday accused the TRS of trying to win the MLC elections in an unethical manner. He said the Congress would win one MLC seat under the MLA quota the ruling party did not play any gimmicks.

Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy said, “The TRS is trying to win the MLC polls in an unethical way. Though the Congress has a possibility of winning one seat, the TRS has fielded one more candidate without sufficient number of MLAs. The Congress had helped Telangana become a separate state. The development of the state is only possible with the Congress. The people of Telangana should vote for the Congress in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls to take the state towards development.”
