TRS, BJP leaders criticism of each other is a drama: V Hanumantha Rao

He said that criticising each other is a drama being played by leaders of the TRS and the BJP.

Hyderabad: AICC secretary and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao has remarked that there is only a friendly fight between the TRS and the BJP.

He said that criticising each other is a drama being played by leaders of the TRS and the BJP.

He demanded Telangana BJP leaders whether they had sincerely asked Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to tender unconditional apology for his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, Mr Hanumantha Rao raised a query to Union minister Nirmala Sitharaman on why she did not ask KCR directly for his re-marks on the PM. He also sought an explanati-on from IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on this issue.

He said KTR had stated that the CM’s remark on the PM was a slip of the tongue and added that it is not correct that the CM launches a personal attack on Narendra Modi. Mr Hanumantha Rao alleged that KCR is an Ali Baba and T. Harish Rao, KTR, K. Kavitha and Santosh (TRS general-secretary and relative of the Chief Minister) are four thieves. He said that to bring pressure on the TRS government on implementation of its assurances, the Congress had taken up the ‘Bus Yatra’.
