TD failed to coerce ally: YSRC MLA
GUNTUR: The legislators and leaders of the ruling Telugu Desam and opposition YSR Congress are unhappy over the BJP led Union Government’s budget's poor allotments to AP state. minister for civil supplies Mr P. Pulla Rao lamented about the total injustice done to AP by the BJP government in the budget and affirmed that the TD will fight and pressurise the Centre for the allocation of funds to the state.
Meanwhile, YSRC MLA of Narasaraopeta G. Srinivasa Reddy said that the TD had failed to pressurise its election ally BJP for budget allocations to the state and demanded that AP CM Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu should withdraw TD ministers from the Union Cabinet with immediate effect. He said that the funds sanctioned for various institutions by the Union government in the budget would not be sufficient to complete the establishment of those institutions in the next 20 years.
YSRC MLA of Macharla Mr P Ramakrishna Reddy alleged the BJP had sanctioned funds to the BJP ruled states and neglected other states. He also alleged that TD despite being an ally of the BJP had totally failed to get funds at least for the railway projects and the railway zone.
YSRC MLA of Mangalagiri Mr A Ramakrishna Reddy alleged that CM Mr Naidu was involved in the ‘note for vote’ process which is why he did not pressurize TD election ally BJP for funds in the budget.
