TPCC disciplinary action committee chairman M. Kodanda Reddy said Mr Ashok was suspended after the party carried out a detailed inquiry.
The party found that Mr Ashok had worked against party senior leader Shabbir Ali who was contesting from the Kamareddy constituency during the recent Assembly elections.
