Candidates busy with brainstorming sessions, analysing poll trends

Adilabad: Candidates are busy with brainstorming sessions while the second-rung leaders have begun analysing the poll trends to gauge the winning chances in each constituency.

They are mainly focusing on booths that represent various communities with different political links. Candidates are getting feedback on the polling trends in their constituencies.

Generally, the polling booth agents get a brief idea about the polling trends and also see the impact of the money, ideology and schemes on the voter.

Satish Rao of Adilabad said it was seen there was an influence of money on the voting patterns in almost all the assembly constituencies. Candidates distributed money and liquor at different stages.

The money spend also varied from candidate to candidate. It is observed that in Asifabad, Khanapur and Boath, the polling percentage was good. Adivasis voted in large numbers. There was a rush in the last hours in all the polling booths.
