Hyderabad: TRS leader T. Harish Rao was on Saturday booked by Siddipet police for violating the model code of conduct. He is accused of attending the Vysya Ashirwad Sabha on November 30, which is a caste-based meeting and and in violation to the poll code.
A complaint was filed against him at the Siddpet police station by the district returning officer. He has been booked under section 125 of RP act and section 188 of IPC (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant)
This is the second time Mr Harish Rao was found violating the model code of conduct. Earlier, the election commission took a serious note of Mr Harish Rao's words against Mr Revuri Prakash Reddy and issued him a notice.
