VISAKHAPATNAM: Celebrations to mark the Andhra Pradesh State Formation Day were held at various places in Visakhapatnam.
District collector Dr. A. Mallikarjuna unfurled the national flag at the collectorate on the occasion. He also garlanded the statues of Potti Sriramulu and Telugu Talli.
Speaking on the occasion, he recalled the sacrifice of Potti Sriramulu in securing formation of AP for Telugu people.
