Hyderabad: Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who has been praising the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in recent days, surprised everyone by praising industries minister K.T. Rama Rao.
Mr Reddy was present at the inauguration on Friday of Green Industrial Park by Mr Rama Rao. The park is situated in Dandu-malkapur in Yadadri Bhongir district.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr Rajagopal Reddy said, "It is fortunate for Telangana people to have industries minister K.T. Rama Rao who is well experienced in the industries field.”
He thanked the minister for inaugurating the Green Industrial Park and said that the people of Telangana state believe in the TRS and this voted it to power for a second term. He said that lakhs of youth are waiting in hope after the formation of Telangana state, and the Green Industrial Park will bring light into the lives of such people. He also thanked the people who have given their lands for this Industrial Park at cheaper rates.
The Congress MLA’s praise of the TRS minister has become a hot topic for discussion not only in the Congress but also in the TRS.
There had been speculation earlier that Mr Reddy may join the BJP or the TRS. He then announced that he was going to join the BJP.
But the Huzurnagar byelection result and the results of Assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana, where the BJP did not do as well as expected, may have changed his mind.
His continuation in the Congress will depend on whether his brother, MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, becomes president of the Telangana state Congress. said party leaders.
