Ballari: Reacting to the charge of sexual harassment levelled against him, MLC and Congress candidate for Ballari LS by-poll V.S. Ugrappa said, “I don't know who they (the victim and her mother) are. I have never seen them. BJP leaders are behind this plot, they instigated them to level false charges to tarnish my image ahead of by-poll.”
He asserted that he had never misbehaved with women in his political career spanning over four decades. Reacting to the allegation against Mr Ugrappa, minister D.K. Shivakumar said, “During election time, it's common for a frustrated opposition party to stoop to such a low, there is no need to give any importance to such allegations.”
