YSRC dares Naidu and Lokesh to face judicial probe by sitting judge

“Harish Rao will backstab KCR,” says former YSRC minister

VIJAYAWADA: Former minister Perni Venkataramaiah has dared Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh to seek a judicial probe by a sitting judge into the allegedly illegal accumulation of assets and wealth by the family.

“Many nephews and sons-in-law have a tendency to backstab their uncles or fathers-in-law, as Naidu did in the past. Telangana’s minister Harish Rao will follow Naidu on this count one day,” the YSRC MLA said while responding to Telangana minister Harish Rao’s comment that the arrest of Chandrababu was unfortunate and objectionable.

The MLA said, “Mark my word. Harish Rao will do to K Chandrasekhar Rao what Chandrababu did to NT Rama Rao,” he said while addressing a press meeting here on Sunday.

Venkataramaiah asserted that Naidu must be punished for his deeds. “Naidu cheated Kapus and harassed Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham during the protest the latter undertook years ago. None of the Kapus feel bad about Chandrababu being in jail.”

The former minister said if the investigating agency probed into the various scams of Chandrababu, courts would sentence him to jail for life. He dared Naidu and Lokesh to get their family assets investigated by a sitting judge.

He claimed that the people knew Chandrababu looted their money. Hence, there is no sadness or sorrow among the people or among the TD leaders after Naidu’s arrest. “If the cases filed against Chandrababu were illegal and false, why did courts not grant bail to him,” he asked.

The YSRC MLA criticised Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for his simultaneous alliance with the BJP and TD. “PK says he wants a casteless society but tours the constituencies where Kapus are strong. Pawan wishes to have a corruption-free society but will roll on the roads in support of jailed Naidu. He says one thing and does the opposite.”
