Congress begins door-to-door campaign in Munugode

The door-to-door campaign which began in Nampally mandal was led by TPCC working president M. Anjan Kumar Yadav

Hyderabad: While highlighting the “failed policies” of State and Union governments, the PCC leadership started the ‘Intintiki Congress’ campaign from Thursday.

The door-to-door campaign which began in Nampally mandal was led by TPCC working president M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, senior vice-president Mallu Ravi and Medak leader Gali Anil Kumar. The leaders who campaigned in the mandal also touched people’s feet as part of the ‘Prajaswamyaniki Padabhi Vandanam’, the idea pushed by party leaders as an effective campaign strategy.

Top leaders including PCC chief A. Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Nalgonda MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and others will be visiting the constituency on September 3.

During a virtual meeting on August 30 with the constituency's election coordinators, the PCC leadership had decided that the Congress will go ahead with a door-to-door campaign. It also decided to highlight the ‘anti-people’s policies’ of the BJP and the TRS and dent the prospects of former Congress leader Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy by emphasising on the ‘economic benefits’ he received.
