CM: No media exclusives till I complete 100 days
Bengaluru: A self-imposed gag by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, during his first 100 days in office, will deny journalists the opportunity of exclusive interactions with the Lingayat strongman.
Unlike in the past, when he acceded to requests for one-on-one interviews with media persons, Mr Yediyurappa has decided to speak only after accomplishing certain goals in terms of implementation of novel schemes during the first 100 days in office.
“He told us not to fix any interviews (with media persons) because he wants to do some work and then speak,” his staff told Deccan Chronicle. “What he told us is he wants to take forward many schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For instance at the review meeting of housing department, he focused on implementation of the Union government's scheme for housing,” sources close to the Chief Minister added.
