It's KCR, not Modi who must apologise: BJP

Hyderabad: The BJP responded to minister K.T. Rama Rao's demand for an apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding unfulfilled promises to the people of Telangana by insisting that it was Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao who owes an apology to the state's residents for unkept promises.

N.V.S.S. Prabhakar, former MLA from Uppal, criticsed Rama Rao for making political statements during official functions. Prabhakar emphasised that it is Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao who should apologise to the people of Telangana for deceiving various sections of society over the past decade.

Prabhakar listed several reasons why he believes Chandrashekar Rao should apologise, including failing to provide 3 acres of land to Dalits, not appointing a Dalit as Chief Minister, not delivering two-bedroom houses to the poor, inadequate provision of drinking water in numerous villages, towns, and settlements despite claiming the success of the Mission Bhagiratha programme, and not generating employment opportunities for unemployed youth.

In summary, the BJP refuted Rama Rao's demand for an apology from Prime Minister Modi and asserted that it is Chief Minister who should apologise to the people of Telangana for unfulfilled promises.
