Amit Shah all praise for Laxman, to visit Telangana on July 13
Hyderabad: BJP national president Amit Shah patted the party’s state president, Dr K. Laxman, on the success of his ongoing Jana Chaitanya Yatra.
Shah promised to participate in the yatra in one of the districts when he visits Telangana on July 13. Mr Shah was supposed to visit TS in June to strengthen party for the upcoming general elections. However, it was postponed. Dr Laxman received a telephone call from Mr Shah on Sunday while he was touring Nizamabad district as part of his yatra.
Dr Laxman said, “Amit Shah ongratulated me on the success of the Jana Chaitanya Yatra and asked me to go ahead with it. He promised to take part in the yatra on July 13.”
Mr Shah, as part of his visit to the TS after a gap of nearly a year, will focus on strengthening the BJP from the booth level for the upcoming general elections. Leaders and activists from the booth level to state level are being invited for the meeting to be addressed by Mr Shah.
Mr Shah’s tour is aimed at bagging the maximum number of Lok Sabha seats from the TS, besides securing power in the state.
Party leaders and cadre have already been advised to be prepared for contesting all the Assembly and Lok Sabha seats independently without a poll alliance with any party.
