Money sole criterion for Min'

Mysuru: In a scathing attack against tourism minister Sa Ra Mahesh, state JD(S) president A H Vishwanath accused the minister of applying money as the sole criteria for issuing tickets to party workers for urban local body polls, resulting in loss of power in KR Nagar TMC.

He told the media here on Saturday: "At least in future, he (Mr Mahesh) should let go of the attitude that only money power is important. It is not caste or power or status which rules us but our heart.  It is the hearts of people which are important. It is this factor which helped Sumalatha Ambareesh win in Mandya. Money is important, but we cannot assume that we can win with money alone."
