Bhatti’s People\'s March crosses 200-km mark

Modi, Shah and KCR plunging the country into crisis, says Bhatti

Khammam: The People’s March by Congress Legislature Party leader Mallubhatti Vikramarka crossed 200km at Thimiinenipalem in Chintakani mandal on Friday.

The march commenced on February 27 at Yadavalli village in Mudigonda mandal of Madhira assembly constituency and continued till March 5. It was resumed on March 25 after completion of the Telangana assembly session. Congress workers cut the cake at Thimminenipalem as the March covered 213km by then.

TPCC secretaries Sivakumar and Mahammad Ayub and Warangal DCC president Nayani Rajender Reddy, Youth Congress state vice-president Palle Rahul, Vardannapet assembly incharge Nemalla Srinivas and Hanumakonda SC Cell vice-president Gangarapu Nagaraju met the CLP leader and extended their solidarity to the march.

The Oggu Kalakarula Brindam consisting of 17 members led by Oggu artist Ellaboina Ramesh met Bhatti and played the Oggu art form during the march.

Addressing the public at Thimminenipalem, Bhatti said the BJP government has been selling public sector units that were set up during the Congress rule. “Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amith Shah will sell the country to the corporate forces if the people maintained silence. The saffron and pink parties are throwing the country into a deep financial crisis,” he said.
