Rahul Gandhi is next PM, says Uttam Kumar Reddy
Hyderabad: TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said he would remain a people’s man whether he win or lose the Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat. He said the people were his family and that he would dedicate his life to them.
Addressing a public meeting in Huzurnagar, Mr Reddy said that after the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress would form government and party president Rahul Gandhi would become the Prime Minister. If he won from Nalgonda, he would try to get a superfast express train on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route via Choutuppal, Chityal, Nakrekal, Suryapet and Kodad with Mr Gandhi’s help.
Mr Reddy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi cheated the people by not implementing the assurances given during in the previous Lok Sabha election campaign. He said Mr Modi had forgotten the assurances of providing two crore jobs to youth per year and doubling the income of farmers. He said Mr Modi could not provide even 5 lakh jobs.
He accused the PM of creating insecurity among Dalits, Muslims and minorities. Chief Minister K. Chandrase-khar Rao supported every decision of the BJP, Mr Reddy said. A vote for the TRS is a vote for the BJP, he added.
