PM Modi hits out at Omar Abdullah for two-PM remark
Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his second campaign meeting in four days in the state targeted Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, saying the steering wheel of Mr Rao’s car was with Mr Owaisi.
“For 40 years, Pakistan kept attacking us. New India will not tolerate this. We will barge into the houses and kill them (terrorists). The Congress does not believe in our forces over the surgical strikes but believes Pakistan.”
The comment of National Conference chief Omar Abdullah that Jammu and Kashmir would one day have a separate Prime Minister and President drew a furious response from Mr Modi. He demanded an apology from the Congress and asked it to explain its ally’s comment.
